This is a beautiful Sylvan lake in the Northeast corner of the Adirondacks. With but two public Access points, it is somewhat difficult to get on but worth the effort. Some of the "cotteges" are amazing. In high season the sail boat races are sublime. This should be added to your list of must paddle bodies of water in New York. The photo is of the type of boat that participates in the races...a purpose built IDEN...

Fantastic lake for scenery and fishing. Perfect habitat for largemouth and pike. I was there on a really windy day, kayak fishing and was still able to land a few 3lb LM and had line snapped by (2) I'm assuming NP... was using 4lb test and ultra light. Go early or late... as usual... but still hit...

Access point for the "Seven Carries" canoe route and St. Regis chain. Residential Lake with "Great Camps". Very shallow sand boat ramp. Larger boats put in at Paul...
