Elmbrook Church — Attraction in Town of Brookfield

I was so sad to see how vanilla the music is at this church. Historically they were know for a strong musical tradition with a variety of styles...it even lists this on their website. However, they have chosen to now do the same thing everyone else does...crank up the volume and do the worship team thing. No variety, straight rhythm section...maybe an occasional add in instrument. Their music is so very predictable and lacks creativity. It's a shame that we serve a creative God, but the services here do not reflect His creative and dynamic image. However, the lead pastor is fantastic and definitely on track in his preaching. He is a life changer and man of passion about Christ. I just wish he would kick the music director in the butt and wake him up from developing a lazy, predictable program without any speck of musical creativity. Elmbrook...you can, and have done in the past, much better. Please step up to the plate, put the effort in, and have your services reflect the creativity of God....and I'm not talking about entertainment, but truly utilizing all our senses to help people know...

This place is huge a person can get lost if they don't ask for directions. Besides the worship/ sermons place, they also have lots of different classrooms, café, a bookstore, a gym, library and so much more. I mainly come here when the No Regrets Conference is here each year. The volunteers that they have though are really nice and helpful to people who asks for help.

For the who lives in this area and doesn't go here to worship and listen to the sermons I highly recommend coming here. And for those who wants to come from different areas of southeastern Milwaukee should at least come here to check this place out especially for...

I wish I could say better things for a church that held so much of my childhood. This church has become an absolute production. The board of elders operates as a business, not as a body of Christ. There is no compassion, grace, or let alone communication. Now closing their successful 50 year old Christian preschool which has served thousands of families and children in the Name of Christ - all under the watch of a pastor who initially rejected the invitation to lead Elmbrook. I could recommend hundreds of churches in the Milwaukee area before Elmbrook. Board of...
