The gentlemen entrusted with the care of this park have done a fantastic job. Friends of the Park has also been actively improving the park experience. The lake is full again, and I've witnessed many people hooking into nice fish, including bluegill, crappie, perch, bass, and pike. The water is deeper, so it generally gets a little less mucky than it used to. The paths are regularly mowed and maintained. There is better access to the lake edge for fishing. There are new benches on the paths for resting. The beach is much better maintained than it used to be. The play areas are well-kept. The bathrooms are typical park bathrooms. They work well enough, and the hand sanitizer never seems to run out. If I had any complaint, it would only be that the soda machine they took out a few years ago still hasn't come back. We used to use it frequently. Some dog owners don't respect the park. They let their dogs poop wherever they want. The park guys must spend a fair bit of time picking up after them. I wouldn't blame them a bit if they began prohibiting dogs on account of the people who ruin it for the responsible dog owners. Last time I saw an osprey fishing in the park was around 6-8 years ago, but I'm hopeful with the restocked fish and clearer water that they will permanently return to the park. Overall, the park has come a very long way from what it was just a few short years ago. It doesn't even seem like the same park. The tremendous amount of improvement is impressive. I strongly recommend that you check it out.

Very nice place! Park is clean, beach area is clean and fishing areas the grass is mowed down to have better access to the lake to fish. The playground is very nice and maintained! Bathroom areas are clean. Its a nice place to have an event. Fishing is good for bluegills, crappie, small and large mouth bass, northern pike and more. Highly recommend! Good job to the crew that maintains the park you guys do a great job!! Thank you!!!

Cadiz Springs is peaceful, no loud motors or water skis, just peace. Great waters for canoeing or kayaking. We try to go once a week and eat lunch there. We’ve seen snow geese, river otters, fish jumping, lots of lily pads,

It’s never grossly busy, it’s just perfect. Families walking dogs. Quiet fishing. It’s just so serene.

My only ugh factor is the atv trail is right next to the lake. Zander? It raises a lot of dust and some noise….but they’re entitled to have fun too…just wish it was a bit farther away, but, it really isn’t that bad.

It’s our happy place when we get to take a break...

Have been a regular visitor to this park for many years. All areas are clean and well kept. Trails are very nicely maintained. The water level is low and falling more each year. Weeds make fishing from the bank very difficult especially in the trout pond and they have overtaken the entire lake Somewhat disappointing ..but hiking is always great! Ample parking and clean primitive restrooms. UPDATE: Weeds around the lake have been cleared and fishing access is no...
