My husband and I, along with our 2 year old, were really looking forward to trying this winery. Unfortunately, I didn't read their policy page on their website to find out that NO kids are allowed. As we entered the property, I saw a sign saying no kids but thought I saw it incorrectly. Then we approached the front door and there is a large sign saying no kids. Well, after seeing a couple in the picnic table area outside with a tasting and their kids also at the table playing games, I thought it's alright to have our 2 year old. But when we walked in to the establishment we were informed that in fact, NO kids are welcome. Unfortunately, I didn't look at other reviews prior to finding this out. But now that I have seen reviews and the replies from the owner, I wouldn't want to support such an owner. To tell a breast feeding mother that just because she doesn't agree with their policy of no kids, that she shouldn't write a negative review is unacceptable. IT IS DISCRIMINATION! How could the one couple outside be served with their kids there, but we were asked to leave? Like other reviews state, bars allow children if there is food, so why is this place any different? We will NOT be recommending this place even though we didn't try one sip of wine. It feels awful to be turned away from something, and that folks, is DISCRIMINATION. No person should support an establishment that thinks this policy...
Read moreVery disappointed in my experience today. Arrived as a part of a small pre wedding gathering with my baby (who is a month old and breastfed) and they told me I needed to leave. I understand children not being allowed as a means to uphold ambiance, but my baby whose life depends on me not being allowed, and then being told I need to leave was not only rude, but is also arguably discriminatory. I can bring my baby into a bar. There is no law that states I can’t have my baby in an establishment that serves alcohol when they also serve food (which they do). Denying my entrance because I have a child when my child cannot live without me is discrimination. I didn’t bring my two other toddlers, if my baby was screaming crying I would understand being asked to step out. Their website states only 21+ allowed on property, but that does not obviously infer that I would be kicked out if I brought my breastfeeding infant. So, just so everyone knows, if you’re a breastfeeding mother you can’t go here. Because if this, we all left and went to La Clare Creamery and had awesome food, and they let us buy wine and brought us wine glasses. Had a lovely time- much better...

If you are like me and my friends, the sign was SUPER misleading. You almost thing the billboard and signage as you drive up is for a shop that sells tools, not wine!
We stopped in here shortly after it opened.
Staff. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. There were plenty of people available to pour samples, which was nice! They were knowledgeable of the wines they were pouring, too!
Space. The tasting room is... HUGE. Is there such a thing as too big? I don't think so, but there was so much room. That is a plus in my eyes because you weren't on top of other tables or people! Definitely a modern new feel.
Wines. I mean can you really judge something super hard given that it is a winery in Fond du Lac, WI?! Let me just say it's juuuust fine and worth the experience. They aren't bad. They are solid! The reds are better than the whites!
If you find yourself in the area or looking for something to do, this is a nice spot! They also offer some snacks for purchase - like a cheese and...
