Stumbled upon this beautiful serene place. ..wth the Dam, lake camp grounds, trails ..while exploring western New York on my motorcycle. The Cattaragus Region Community Foundation has done commendable work towards preservation and upkeep the Canaedea Dam , Rushford lake and it's surroundings. A beautiful quiet place for recreation and relaxation. You drive around the lake and campgrounds and visit the dam. You could support the Foundation by donations using the QR code on the different signage. They make it a point to send appreciation letters individually even to the smallest of donations!

No signage to get here and absolutely nothing to see except one picnic table and a couple of outhouses and the top of a dam. Very little view with the exception of an obstructed fence view withno tresspassing signs...am i...
