Nine Corner Lake is a nice moderately challenging hike. The trail is .9 miles one way, and a 2.8 mile round trip hike. The hike to the lake is a steady climb of about 300 feet in elevation gain. On the trail you can view a nice waterfall and there are some large boulders along the way. When you get close the end of the trail, you will notice a snowmobile trail that parallels the lake. This trail is okay, but didn't really have any great views of the lake. This particular trail should a have a marking and a sign telling where it goes. It is unfortunate that the state has done this yet. It would help avoid confusion on this part of the trail as well. The hike is very popular and many people seem to swim in the lake as well.
