Nine Corner Lake is a nice moderately challenging hike. The trail is .9 miles one way, and a 2.8 mile round trip hike. The hike to the lake is a steady climb of about 300 feet in elevation gain. On the trail you can view a nice waterfall and there are some large boulders along the way. When you get close the end of the trail, you will notice a snowmobile trail that parallels the lake. This trail is okay, but didn't really have any great views of the lake. This particular trail should a have a marking and a sign telling where it goes. It is unfortunate that the state has done this yet. It would help avoid confusion on this part of the trail as well. The hike is very popular and many people seem to swim in the lake as well. You should not be surprised to see others on the trail. There is no cell service in the area. Nice Corner Lake is a short hike with a nice reward at the end.

Great getaway location, whether a day trip or camping. Nice trails to hike. Beautiful scenery. Jumped in the lake a couple times. If you are planning on camping be very specific about what you pack. Do not bring any more than you need. Unnecessary stuff equals hauling a heavy load.

Great short hike any season. My favorite place to visit in the lower Adirondacks. Great camping spot although it's become very popular over the past few years but the community has gotten much better and the trails are becoming much cleaner.

Beautiful spot on a clean, refreshing lake. It's a hike to get to it, but well worth it! It's my favorite place to swim. Just go beyond the trail that goes to the right where "everyone else" goes. It's cleaner and more private further up. Well worth the extra effort. People forget to carry out their trash, so that part makes me sad, but I be sure to carry some out with me when I leave, making it better and more pleasant for those...

This trail had a little bit of everything! The lake is worth the hike! Plenty of places to stop along the way to rest and take pictures. One of my favorites to date. Make sure you do not miss the waterfall part way up. It is worth leaving the trail to see. When you first reach the lake, if you go to the right and down to the shore, there is a large rock where the water is deep enough to...
