Silver Lake State Park — Attraction in Town of Castile

I came here on March 31st and all over the entrance they have signs saying I need to pay $6 all year round to enter so I enter and I pay $6. after I spend about three minutes then I see another five cars entered and they did not need or have to pay anything so they just entered without any payment and I was just left there feeling hopeless. after I entered I noticed that there are barely any nice things to see. The park was very dirty and un- arranged and it smelled really bad. I tried to sit on one of the benches and eat my chicken in peace but the benches look like they haven't been touched in...

It's a really beautiful view here, the bathrooms are actually kept clean, but depending on what your doing here it might not be the best place. Like fishing or hiking, the park isn't big at all so theres no where to hike and it's extremely shallow waters so if your fishing off the side of the shore it's not good. But there's a boat ramp here to get to deeper waters to fish. There's a park for your kids and there's grills here so you can cook food on a picnic next to the wonderful...

Lake was good. A bit choppy today. The State Boat Launch needs some work though. Their is a Huge 10-12 inch drop off the end of the concrete!! It gave a lot of people issues pulling their boats out!! It definitely needs some stone added to even it out and get rid of the drop!!! Didn't fish today but saw a ton of fish on my fish Finder!!
