This is a nice unattended "state park" with shelters, bathrooms, playground, and most importantly, trails to the falls. You can go down and up either side of the falls, but the side closest to the parking lot (as opposed to the far side opposite side of the rt. 13 bridge from the park entrance) is the easier to navigate, and much less slippery.

The falls were is full glory when we visited - it's been a very rainy July and there's lots of water. It's a busy place, we saw many families hiking down and back. It's 167ft down -- so about the equivalent of 32 stories down and up. Much of the walk is shaded. There is no access for a stroller / wheelchair / person with limited mobility. Know if you bring your kids down there's a chance you're carrying them back up!
