It's a launch dock for kayaks & canoes. It is a lovely spot to sit out on the dock & watch a sunrise/sunset with the right weather but it's quite small, so if more than one of us in Onondaga county has the thought cross our mind for the same day & time, well...it'll be a cramped dock & cramped parking lot as that's tiny too. Speaking of: the parking lot has a lovely thick layer of ice on it, no one's job keeping it salted for liabilities' sake. Speaking of liabilities: there aren't any signs as to whether ice fishing is safe or not on the lake. No mention of ice thickness or how often it's measured. Seems as though no thought has gone into this area at all. Lives are precious, let's not lose one before changes are made.
