Pretty place, nice trails for hiking, biking, running, horse riding, dog walking, or just some general meandering. Remember though, this is a swamp, and the insects are as such. The mosquitoes are absolutley ruthless at certain points in the trails. Enough so to be the cause of people turning back. I was warned by two people fleeing the last time I was there. There is a nice little bridge there over a little creek. I'm not sure about fishing, though they say you're supposed to be able to. Read moreAn enjoyable, short, and flat walk through some nice Cedar and Hemlock swamps. The actual parking for the trailhead is actually off of Quarry road nearly across from the transfer station. The parking lot and trails are wide and accessible with small crushed stone throughout making it wheelchair accessible. There are frequent kiosks around the trail and a nice overlook where Chittenango creek abuts the park. The trail can then be added to the old railroad bed which is part of the North Country trail.
