Ooms Pond is the most beautiful and peaceful location to go for a walk with your dog. There is something so calming about Ooms that doesn’t quite exist at other locations in the area. I have been going for years and it never fails to impress with its beautiful views, birds, and overall calming vibes. Please keep your dog on a leash, and pick up after them so we can all continue to enjoy this spot with our fur babies for many more years to come!!

First time going here, and I loved it. Lots of various ways you can along the trails. Wasn't tremendously crowded so most of the time I didn't cross paths with many people. Quiet, lots of places to sit, and a great spot for taking a variety of pictures. Saw several different species of birds including Red Winged Blackbirds, Downy Woodpecker, and Bluebirds. I will definitely be returning here when it gets warmer and things start to bloom more.

Absolutely stunning, clean, peaceful park. Visiting from Florida & it didn't disappoint. Serene lake and quaint walking paths. I wven found a grocache (gps guided treasure hunt) Beautiful natural area with an information pavillion, log book and lovely benches with lake view. Good for a quick stop or a nice day.

Trails are well maintained and canoeing the pond is excellent with turtles, herons, fishing and birds. Boat launch is difficult and small. Would be great if opened up. Recently I dropped my Leatherman multi tool and thought it was lost. I returned and looked for it in the trail and parking lot but did not find it until I returned to the car and noticed someone placed sunglasses on the rail fence. Next to the glasses was my Leatherman! Many thanks to the person that placed it there, so grateful as I have had it for 30 years and wear it everyday. We love going to Ooms and appreciate the work that goes into maintaining it for...

An excellent conservation area with a beautiful pond, rolling hills, benches, a gazebo, a dedicated parking area, information stands with guides to paths around the area. Perfect for stargazing, birdwatching, picnics, relatively short/easy hikes, elevated areas perfect for setting up a telescope (although the park closes at dusk), excellent vantage points for great 360° views of distant sights... A beautiful place to spend an hour or a day! Snow and ice make it rather rough for those not ready for the terrain, so be prepared! In nice weather, however, it's a great place to...
