Chautauqua Lake — Attraction in Town of Chautauqua

Beautiful resort , beds comfortable and staff friendly and professuonal especially Vanessa. There are several reason I would not go again...expensive, no microwave or coffe maker in room and available only until 10 or 11 in hallway..no ventilation in bathroom. It was so hot in there you couldnt stand it. The air conditioner ony worked on low. Luckily we brought our own fan.. No boat rentala in area in october.

This was an overnight trip biking the entire lake. Stayed in Mayville which was my starting point. The trail was directly across from the hotel. An early morning journey allowed me to sight see as I biked. Amazing lake! We have a lake house here and it is always fun and relaxing! The dogs love to swim in the lake! But, snakes live right near the house and we always see snakes.
