Needs serious brush cutting for the wetlands trail (off 17m). Tiny sign can miss it easy. It's not taken care of at ALL. There's tons of overgrowth over the trail & less then a mile the trail gets swallowed by plants you can't even make out the path. Total misnomer for "boardwalk" that's boasted as the main photo on their site. It's no where near the trail head but somewhere at the very very end of the trail past where the plants taken over the trail. Came back to the car w 4 burs on our socks between us 2. Went to Lazy Rd trailhead instead, the lot is a little bigger (over by corner Rt 51 & 17m) there's a "sign" across from the lot about the gate. It's a crushed gravel/compacted/loose rocks trail. Plenty wide but it's commonly used/pass people. We only made it about 2/3 of the way to the other side until we had to turn around cause of time. Also no real directions to the trailheads unless you download the trail map, site doesn't really...

Had first hike here over the weekend, by 51 and rt17m. Beautiful views. Not sure if the all downed trees on the main (mostly paved) trail were always there or fell this winter, but they are easily passed. About a mile in on the main trail came to a point with a lot of downed trees and some scary "widow maker" limbs were dangling from trees over the path (attached photo). Decided not to take any chances as it was breezy that day, so took one of the side trails at that point. It was the best decision! My dog and I had a great time waking the trail and experiencing a hike for the first time. The trail passed the brook a couple of times, which was nice. There were some trail bike riders and other couples/families along the way but not overcrowded. Everyone was really nice. Can't wait to go back this spring and summer. I think it will be better option for walking the dog due to shade and not a lot of...

First address led us to some deadens road by a spiritual center on Davis Hill road?? Second address was just a series of random parking lots/areas along 17M, with poor signage and rather bad access.

The trail itself was lovely, though the surface was a strange mix of old broken paving and gravel... Footing very uncertain at times; probably even worse with a bit of rain. Wonderful views as you head up the hill, and can see out into the old pastures/fields on either side. Road noise diminished as you got away from 17M and 6, and the woods...

Lazy hill rd trail partially paved / gravel 3 miles each way with some up and down. Great side trails for exploring, is great on foot or bike. Parking lot is at the northeastern corner
