Dirty Dog Farm — Attraction in Town of Clermont

Josh and the team at Dirty Dog Farm put out the best tasting beef and pork that i ever had. i started with the mini beef share and immediately graduated to the 1/8 share. i am already ordered another 1/8 share and bought a pork share.

i hate store bought beef. It tastes bad and after watching all those documentaries on beef and pigs i wanted more certainty on how the animals were treated and what they ate. And Josh and team really love these animals.

Now i know that my ground beef and pork is coming from 1 animal. And it tastes great and i feel good after eating it.

i was concerned if we would eat all this beef and how it would last in the freezer. No issues with freezer burn - they package the beef just right. Vacum sealed and the right sized portions.

i thought the 1lb ground beef packages were too small but they are just right. And easy to thaw. i just pull out a package and put it in the fridge over night. if i need it for dinner just drop in the sink in cold water and it is ready to use in under an hour.

My college kids take the beef back to their Apt to use and that it is frozen it travels well.

My kids now make the best meatballs and burgers.

Just great stuff and i am helping a local farmer and his family.

Just received my eighth beef share in the mail (Fedex). I don't need to tell you that the cuts are great, the portion sizes are appropriate, or that this is some of the best beef I've ever eaten - we already know this. What I do want to shout out is how your business makes quality beef accessible to so many people who otherwise couldn't get it easily. A few years ago I used a "meat subscription" service that I really enjoyed. Then I moved outside their service area and struggled for over a year to find a replacement. The ones we tried were all just "meh". Then the marketing Gods/website cookies worked their magic and led me to an Instagram ad for Dirty Dog. Dirty Dog has saved me the headache of having to source "good" beef, and avoid both the guilt and yucky flavor that comes with ordering/eating Big Box meat. I also appreciate that you are semi-local to me. The quarter/eighth share sizing works well for my family as we rotate our weekly menu between beef/chicken/sausage/venison/etc. Will be ordering again once my freezer...

It’s literally the best beef I’ve ever had (expect for that one time I ordered “olive Waygu” from Japan but that was astronomically priced and was a one time deal haha)!

The first strip steak I cooked, the fat had a fishy taste to it - I did some research and found out that when meat is EXTRA high quality the fat can have high quality Omegas that it takes on a light fishy taste! I was amazed! The meat tasted superb, the fat was just extra nutrient dense! How cool is that!?

Thank you for raising happy and loved cows, because I can taste the difference! I hope whatever you guys are doing, you can keep doing it and providing awesome meat and service.
