Regarding the MTB trails, I guess this place just isn't for me. A lot of the trails were a mess both times I tried riding there. Some of it from logging and some of it from overgrowth and a lot of debris. I've never had so many things wind up in my drivetrain or spokes. I also found it difficult to navigate (cell service can be spotty too, BTW). Between the main trail signs there's not much telling you where you are (even something referring to which lake you're looking at would help) and you likely have miles between signs, so plan accordingly because once you get out there you're in for...
Read moreTrails are super fun. I love old school tight singletrack, so I was right at home riding these. Favorites were East Side, Puma Playground, and Shangri La (haven't ridding all of them yet). Plan on 1-2 hours minimum as there is one trailhead. There is, what looks to be, a fire road in some parts that you can jump on if you are out too far and don't want to take the trail system all the way back. Going back this weekend...
