One of many All-Star sights in the area... perfect for a day trip and incredible trout fishing... which I want to learn. We're here in Downsville at the Downsville Covered Bridge, and this is actually the East Branch of the Delaware River. So if you're from Philly and you know the Delaware, can you imagine? This is the very water - right here. It's so clear. There's a lot of fishing here, and tons of recreation. We're really in the middle of nowhere, though. We had to use our Garmin GPS because we had no cell service. But it's just really, really beautiful. I love the reflection in the water. The rain's coming in later tonight, so it's getting a little cloudy, but the weather right now is absolutely perfect - high 60s, low 70s. It should be a little warmer, maybe? But hey - we're in New York, up in the mountains, so it's pretty cool. Alright, so, Get out there. Seek adventure while...

Downsville covered bridge is real cute. You can drive your car across but not trucks or vans. On the town side there is a little park for picnics and kayak or canoe launching. It's right on the East Branch of the Delaware River. Good trout fishing too. If you don't have a canoe, go to Al's on the corner of Rte 206 and River Rd. The river has lots of trout, ducks, and sometimes you see eagles and red tail hawks or deer. Very beautiful,...

Picturesque spot around the Catskill region. Just passed by the sign on the way home to NJ, and checked out this gem. Tiny, one car width bridge opens to a little clearing to park at. Sit at the bank and have a little snack and enjoy the view. If you have it, take out your fly rod and flies out for a beautiful tranquil day...
