If you're in northeast Wisconsin looking to hike or to scout waterfalls, LaSalle Falls is definitely worth the trip. Some reviewers have given this location a low review due to the road that gets you there. But, LaSalle Falls Road is very similar to other gravel roads you find in rural northeast Wisconsin and is navigable with non-four wheel drive vehicles. (The day we visited, we drove our Prius). I'll admit, the first time we encountered roads like this we were concerned, too, but it's okay. Marinette County heavily advertises their waterfalls, however, I think the astute waterfall hunter would be well served by expanding their hunt into Florence County.    Read moreA nice trail out and back from the falls. We hiked it in some off-and-on rain, so some of it was a little slippery but not bad. I appreciated that it's not all uphill or downhill in one direction, but you get a good mix of ups and downs each way. Good views of the falls and river at the end.
