We love coming here every Friday during the summer. However, with the popularity of Friday night live music nights and a pizza food truck has brought more and more people—which is great but does not work when the staffing is not at the level it should be. We watched the poor servers running around to try and meet all of the needs of the patrons but can’t keep up. We waited 80 minutes for a pizza. 80 mins is way too long (we were told 45 mins which we were fine with). A family’s picnic table flipped over, causing crashing of wine glasses and one of the patrons on the ground and the owner never came out to see how they were. I am sure she was working to try and make orders happen.
This place is a gem but I think it’s really struggling in terms of having enough help. One poor server, Jenny, is fantastic but overwhelmed every time we come. That’s not fair to her or anyone there. I beg the owner to get the right number of staff to meet the rising number of customers. And while the pizza truck is a great addition, they have to figure out how to get pizzas out faster or they will...
Read moreGrace Tyler Estate Winery is no longer a hidden gem; it's a well-known treasure. This family-run business treats their patrons like part of their own family. For our daughter's graduation party, we enjoyed the use of a private tent, complete with heaters and blankets. Despite being busy with many customers on the other side, the staff continuously checked on us to ensure everything was going smoothly.
They went above and beyond, even helping us organize a charcuterie board. When our outside caterer forgot to bring utensils, Richard and Elizabeth, despite their busy schedule, kindly ran back to their home to get us some.
While I am not typically a wine drinker, I appreciated their offerings, especially the Diamond. The real wine enthusiasts in our group particularly loved the Baco Noir.
Overall, Grace Tyler Estate Winery provided an exceptional experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue for our celebration.
Even though my daughter is leaving the area, we will still stay proud members of...
Read moreA long time ago I started my wine journey by visiting this place and falling in love with both the industry and this winery. This was my first experience into the world of wine and now that I travel back and forth between the finger lakes and France to study and taste wine for a living, this is a place I continue to drink from. Their specialty is their roses. Being on par with roses that I get paid to drink all the way over in Burgundy, France. The owners are both very passionate people who have crafted a great place to visit and make a unique enough experience in their location, and in their quality of wines. Keeping the list smaller to provide that quality over quantity that many NY wineries are starting to move away from. Keep a look out for many other award winning whites that continue to win medals every year as well, as they are able to continue to make high quality batches every harvest season. Certainly a place to make a trip to even if it is outside of the "main" finger...
