Lunch Creek Vineyards & Winery — Attraction in Town of Crystal Lake

This past Saturday I had my wedding here. Initially the ceremony was to be at a different location but due to weather, we made a last minute decision to have the ceremony as well as the previously planned reception at Lunch Creek. The owner Lyn made it as if that was the plan all along, ensuring everything went smoothly. Her staff is so helpful, knowledgeable and incredibly welcoming. The grounds are gorgeous and made for a beautiful backdrop even when the rain tried to put a damper on a perfect day. The wine is amazing too! I highly recommend going to Lunch Creek Vineyard & Winery for a tasting and relaxing afternoon or for all your event needs. My husband and I were staying in Wautoma for a week and visited Lunch Creek twice. The second time we visited was on a weekday, which is appointment only. I called, agreed on a time, and Lyn was ready when we arrived. Lyn provided great customer service and offered lots of tips for places we should check out during our stay. We both got samples of 8 wines, multiple full glasses, and a charcuterie board. Of special note is the charcuterie. The meat, cheeses, dips, and nuts were all local. I typically don't care for fruit wines because they tend to be one note--too sweet. But Lunch Creek offered a nice variety and my favorite was the oaked Marquette. We are looking forward...

What a fun place! My family happened to be staying in the Wautoma area and decided to Google local wineries. We're so glad we did! As soon as we arrived at Lunch Creek, we were greeted by the friendly staff. Jim and Dawn were the best! Jim had plenty of stories to tell and kept us laughing the entire time. We did a wine tasting and fell in love with several of the wines. We took home a bottle of the Kiss of the Creek and their delicious sangria.
