I've been to Bruce Mound a few times and overall I've had great experiences there. Unfortunately when I went this year it wasn't that great of an experience. I went with a few of my friends and I just felt like we were treated differently from everyone else. We all went tubing and were enjoying ourselves until one of the workers got a little rude with us. He looked maybe in his early 20's and had a stuck up attitude with us like he ran the place. On top of that there were some very obnoxious and extremely rude teenagers cutting us in line but the guy didn't seem to care what they were doing. In fact they were going down the hills just like a couple of my friends were and they(my friends) got told not to go down like that. We literally weren't even doing anything wrong. I'm not sure what that guys problem was with us but I found it very upsetting. Also while we were leaving those same teens were honking behind my friend and I telling us to move over. And then sped off. Thank god they didn't hit anyone. I know that part isn't Bruce Mounds fault or the workers there but there are way too many unsupervised children there who get away with way too much there. PARENTS please stop dropping off your kids here, I'm not their babysitter and neither is anyone else...
Read moreNew Boarder but not my first slope. The bunny hills rope was zooming. And it was a constant carve up the hill. Wore out the feet before we could even use them. So we immediately switched over to Green. Inexperienced riders struggled more then they would have at my first slope. Not to advertise I will keep that name out of this review. Much less my brand new gloves of not so cheap are now torn up and looking like I let an animal chew on them. Not happy about that really much, and the only negative was the Bunny Hills Rope Everything else was typical for showing up at this temperature and first in line. Nice and iced over little grooming was down, but it made for a ride I won't forget. That's where the four stars comes from lol. I was zooming and being brand new I actually got my carving down finally! Day 5 and it's because of the terrain was perfect to learn on. Even iced over snow didn't have a chance. 4/5 Stars for a far better bunny hill and green hill for learning and putting things together. 5/5 if we could slow that Bunny...
Read moreTubing area now has a magic carpet to stand upon to ride to the top of hill, which replaced the tow rope setup. Our family had a great time again this year trying out all the tubing runs now on the other side of the new magic carpet conveyor belt. These new tubing runs don’t have the steeper slope at the top of the hill to get a really good start like used to exist on the opposite side of the magic carpet ride. That are is now part if the bunny hill and terrain park. New tubs in 2025 with adult (blue) and child (red) sizes available to ride down the ten snow tubing runs, each slightly different with more or less speed, based on your or your family, friends, and relatives preference with some fairly smooth and fast. Longer waiting line occurs for the tubing lane adjacent to the magic carpet. The previous tubing tow rope now serves the snowboarders and down hill skiers on the bunny hill and terrain park with speeds at least two times faster than the magic...
