Nice, easy trail that takes you along some wetlands and also connects to Hammond Hill State Forest trails. Boardwalk through the wetlands gives you an opportunity to view birds and other wildlife. The boardwalk looks like it needs a few little repairs (as of June 2024) in a few spots. After you leave the boardwalk, there is a trail through the woods that connects to Hammond Hill State Forest. There were several trees down (as of June 2024) across the trail in the woods. Read moreThere is a very nice boardwalk but it is not wheelchair accessible. To get to the boardwalk you must first go down a gravel path, over 200 feet. It is downhill to the boardwalk but uphill back to the parking lot. The wheels, including the small front wheels, get stuck in the gravel. If you try to turn the big wheels they will still turn but the chair won't move. It cannot be pushed either.
