I attended DPBC on July 6 for the celebration of HH the Dalai Lama’s 90th Birthday. It was beautiful and meaningful event. Atmosphere was peaceful and the community was warm and welcoming. The temple itself is beautiful and very clean. Just being there gave me a sense of peace. I truly enjoyed being part of the celebration. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

One of the most peaceful places I've been on Earth. I went right before New Year and the place was open for the public, you could feel a powerful silence inside the temple that would make you get into a deep consciousness of your existence. It is all very clean and the energy is calm. Perfect to have a good meditation.

I stumbled onto the Temple property a few years ago. The Dalai Lama happened to be there at the same time. I've become like a feral cat at a welcoming farm. I'm very honored to say I'm the Temple photographer and love serving as an artist to the community I have found there.

It was absolutely beautiful. I hadn't seen anything like that since I was in South East Asia. There was a monk in glass who I believe started this temple. At first I saw him and I was taken back by him. I went closer and he is life like. He almost looks like he is stuffed. I wanted to be respectful so I didn't go to close. It is open to the public. They are all for teaching beginners. It was just up lifting. I forgot the world. Great experience. I left a donation on the alter because I want to support this wonderful temple and the religion of...

Absolutely incredible. The people were so nice and friendly. Upon arrival, we were welcomed and treated as guests. A monk spoke to us about his past and the rules they follow for an hour. Not once did I think about time. There was a translator who was very kind and easy to listen too. We were allowed to walk around inside and outside to gain more knowledge. Went for a college course and definitely recommend for anyone who is contemplating visiting. All are welcome. Plus the...

I visited the temple last month just to see what it was like. I had recently returned from Vietnam and was interested to see how it compared to the Buddhist Temples/Pagodas out there. It's very peaceful, almost as if it's just being in the presence of the temple that makes you feel safe and peaceful. I only went to photograph the outside and I didn't go inside, even though I know how to worship once inside. I'll leave that for a day that I can dedicate my time to...
