Lots of acres and trails to explore. Plenty of deer but herd population is decreasing because of state redevelopment for other kinds of hunts. Place is so different from 10, 15 years ago with great timber and oaks. Deer bedding and food sources are now very scarce. Now just tons of CRP and really bad bedding areas for deer. Read moreBeautiful place with nice walking trails. Great for biking since it connects to the main bike path. They have a neat bridge to take pictures at. Careful with the river though! Very fast currents run though there. The beaches along the river are oretry much all rock so make sure to wear good shoes! From my understanding, camping and bonfires are free on the beach here. Read moreThis was such a beautiful place to visit. The drive was less than 15 minutes from downtown Dunnville. If you like the outdoors I highly recommend that you come check the Dunnville Bottoms. I didn't want to leave. I could have stayed and rock hounded for days... found several agates and was pleased to find them so far south from Lake Superior.
