There is no way to reply to this incredibly rude comment from the owner on my first review so here we are…
Not everything else was working that day. There were multiple games in BOTH buildings that weren’t working with no signs so instead would just eat quarters. And if we were to ask for assistance, it seemed to be such a bother to the people working. And as far as the ATM, at no point did I raise my voice or “disrespect” the staff. I said that it was frustrating that the atm was down and there was no other option to get change.
I have since been back because I have a toddler who always asks to go when we are up, and again, multiple games that had no signs and didn’t work. The ATM was still down but I was sure to have cash so that crisis was averted.
I was generally happy with the visit this trip and looked forward to continuing the tradition of visiting with my kids, but I’m almost in disbelief at the comment left by the owner. Generally, if you have disappointed customers, you apologize for the inconvenience and not place blame on your patrons. And then to say “she was upset when you were done with her”, as if I went off on her. There was almost no interaction aside from sharing that I was frustrated but again, no raised voices, no swearing, no comments directed at the staff member. So DO NOT make it out as if I was a raging customer when no such thing happened. Based on the response from an owner, I’m not surprised at all the park is going the...
Read moreI grew up at midway. I’ve spent over 30 years there. Today (7/31/22 approx 4pm) was the first time I have ever felt so disgusted by an employee there. A GROWN MAN easily in his 40s was running the rock climbing and my daughters got in line and he told them no because they had on crocs WITH THEIR BACKS ON. Then the amount of rudeness that came from his mouth in front of other children and families was appalling. His demeanor was disgusting. He wasn’t the least bit friendly to any child walking thru the gate. He isn’t someone who should be working at a family amusement park. He told my husband to talk to his supervisor so I walked over and got one who walked back to rock climbing with me and told him crocs with the backs on were fine. He said ok. THEN as he’s putting a kid in a harness after he was told by his boss or whomever that crocs were fine he proceeded to call us white trash. Why? Because we have brand new crocs on our kids feet or because we have tattoos? The supers were helpful and moved him to another ride and said they would have a talk with him about his attitude but working in customer service I know how that goes so I’m not expecting much to come from it, but I just felt it necessary to let others know there is a gentleman in his 40s or so running rides there who...
Read moreWhen you pay for a bracelet which allows children or whomever to ride all the rides you want they say if you have a child 3 and under that you can ride for free for safety purposes. We'll it's not true. They have 4 rides that you are allowed to accompany a child with. And when I tried to talk to someone about it they went and got ranger "rick". The security guard they have. Which in doing so escalated the situation to something it didn't need to be. Without me being angry or anything they got this gentleman who decided to enter into the situation with and attitude. Basically got in my face while I was simply inquiring about the rides. After that situation happened the ride operators whom I had a conflict with apparently went and got the park manager. Whom approached me with ranger "rick" yet again and I was basically informed he would be watching me. What ended up happening was I was followed by this person for the remainder of the time I was in the park. The food is way over priced and not very good either. And the children they had running it unsupervised were not friendly or very good at there job. So i spent around 200$ at this place to be harassed by staff and followed by ranger "rick" who took it upon himself to follow...
