I will not ever go tubing here again and I vehemently suggest that anyone with kids should not bring them here. They have false advertisement on the website, we went on a Saturday night which I would assume tends to be a busy night for them and they did not make the attempt to open many lanes, thus, we waited 40 minutes at the top which was crammed with other tubers which make it very difficult to navigate and my son and the other children we were with fell many times. Aside from that, my main dissatisfaction came from the way me and my son were treated. It was very unclear from the signs ,where you get your ticket , as to what the requirements were for “little tubers”. The sign read “7 years old 42 inches tall” there was no coma or “and” which lead my family to believe our 43 in 5 year old would be able to go down the hill with us. We were still under this impression when the worker on the lift up allowed us to go and specifically told us to stack the tubes bc he noticed with we’re going up with a child. Then, as were neared the front of the line we were approached by a worker who in my opinion was extremly rude and had no respect for the customers and talked very Inappropriatly in front of a child. He expressed in a very nasty tone that my son was not allowed to go down the hill because he didn’t meet the 7 years old requirement however he would still have to go down the hill by himself in order to get to the bottom. I told him that we initally thought we could go down together bc the conditions were listed as medium and the Thursday prior ,when the conditions were extreme, they allowed for 3 tubers to go down together, therefore I had sadly concerns for him to go down alone. We went back a forth onnthr hill and he told me that if he got hurt it would be my fault. The sum up this bad experience my son was forced down to go down alone crying and once at the bottom we spoke to the manager who said that he walked down many families That night for the same reason. I asked why we didn’t receive that same treatment and his excuse was that it was too icy now for him to walk down...
Read moreWe went to Holiday Valley tubing park today and I was less than impressed. Yes it was warm out but I feel like it should’ve been closed as it was not safe. We drove two hours to arrive at a mud covered hill will some sheets of ice. The staff was rude from the moment we went in the building until the moment we got up the hill. The girl inside was on her phone and didn’t even look up when I asked her where to scan my tickets. The guy at the bottom of the hill didn’t say anything and was very rude when we asked what to do. The same can be said for the two young men at the top of the hill. They were making jokes at our expense and very rude. When we asked about safety they were sure to tell us about a kid who broke his leg there within the last couple of weeks- that made me want to walk my children back down the hill. They were nasty about every question we asked and yelled at us for not going as quick as they wanted us to even though there was no one waiting behind us to go. They made jokes about us and laughed with each other. The kid at the bottom of the hill yelled at our children for walking across the wrong way, even though nothing was ever explained to us. Very unprofessional and rude. We won’t return. We stayed for 15 minutes… 2 hour drive and $200 wasted. We went someplace else last weekend when it was warm and it was safe, fun, and the staff were more...
Read moreI had gone here maybe 4 or 5 years ago- I can't remember- and I just went again last night. They completely redid the snow tubing hill- it is now MUCh better before, there were different ‘levels’ of lanes, ones where you go super fast, others where you’d go a touch slower. You were also forced to go down on your stomach (NO thank you!) and you might not be slowed down enough by the small hill at the bottom, causing you to fall into the parking lot. NOW they redid all the lanes- there are more of them, for one, and they are all consistent, with a very long flat area to slow you down, and a small hill at the end to finish the stop if you need. There are also several nice ‘exit lanes’ in the flat area- which makes leaving the hill easier. You are also allowed to go down with your but in the tube now. They still have the magic carpet to bring you to the top, but there isn’t a roof ot it anymore (I believe there used to be, but I’m not sure). That's the only downside- and again, if it isn’t actively snowing, it’s a non-issue. In my opinion, they did a FANTASTIC job redoing the hill- and it feels both more fun...
