Loew Lake Unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest — Attraction in Town of Erin

Always a good choice for a hike. Definitely a place that's know so expect to pass people. Several trails with a cool bridge and a nice parking lot. Not a ton of miles or loops, but worth it. My wife loves the pines, which we have had luck seeing owls over the years. Ice Age trail cuts through here which is also a great section with water views. Dogs...

There aren't camping spots but hunting is available. The Glacier Trail is open & not wooded at all. Little more difficult to navigate than other symtate parks I've visited due to private property being within the park. Not very many people. Nice place to get away from the hustle...
