Not even sure where to begin. The complete lack of respect and rudeness from the staff was just the beginning of why NO ONE EVER should trust this place to have their event in. If I could give a negative rating I would in a heartbeat. From the snarky remarks made by the staff to themselves when they thought no one was listening to the beyond rude way they asked us to leave at the end of the night to changing the pickup time the day after three days before the wedding. I could go on and on. Please be very careful if you chose this place for your wedding or event. I know others had a great experience but apparently they just didn't like the people this past weekend and wanted to make it very well known.
I will give two examples of the negative experience I had with the staff but know there were plenty more. We were there for the rehearsal and I had my kids with me. My daughter had spiked a fever that afternoon and was not in the best shape. I was simply trying to go back to the car to get her some medication and my son a sweatshirt. We walked around the back part of the barn to get to the car. THERE WAS NO SIGN OR BARRICADE stating that we were not supposed to go that way. I was less than 5 feet from the path back to the parking lot when a younger woman started yelling at me and my kids that we had to stop and go back the other way. Apparently that was a service drive and the "catering space" and we were not allowed there. I apologized and asked if I could please just go to my car as my daughter was sick. She looked at me and said no. I said please I have my kids with me and she said not even with your kids. Go back and walk around the correct way and don't come back here again. I respected what she said as I did not want to create any more difficulties for the Bride and Groom. Both of my kids were startled by her yelling and asked why the lady was being so mean. Her complete lack of compassion or caring for us was so necessary. We did not get the memo that we were not supposed to go that way because we arrived slightly late to the rehearsal. She could have very easily let us know what the rule was and let us go on our way. We would have complied the rest of the weekend of course. They also could have had proper signage up to let us know. They did finally the day of the wedding but not the rehearsal day. I found out later that this person was the daughter of the owner so please beware. You will have to deal with her. Both the mother and the daughter were apparently so nice in the beginning and by the week before completely changed how they acted.
Lastly at the end of the night the owner started yelling at all of the remaining guests to get out now! Mind you it was 12:05 am and we the wedding party were just trying to get things cleaned up a bit. She did not care and started forcibly moving people out of the barn while yelling the whole time. Never in my life had I experienced people so rude at a venue. The bride and groom paid good money to be there and you would have never known it with how they acted.

Read moreHow had we not heard of OVA before? We attended their pizza night recently with my sister and brother-in-law. What a magical place - lovely gardens, beautiful walkways, restored barn. We were enchanted by the decorations including thousands of fairy lights. The salad was so fresh and crisp. I learned later that they grow much of their own food RIGHT THERE on the farm. And organic! I also learned this was their first pizza night and they had a larger crowd than expected. So yes, there was a wait for pizza but it was advertised to be served throughout the 6:30-9:30pm time slot. We had 4 different kinds of pizza that were DELICIOUS with just picked from the vine tomatoes. So tasty đ It was our intent to make a night of it since they had a band. We found enough to keep ourselves occupied by having beverages, Sâmores, and good conversation while waiting for the pizza. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We canât wait to go back to see what other events theyâll...
Read moreSo disappointing. Attended wood fire pizza for $20 per person To stand in line for 40 min to get food. Which was a total of one peice. One single pizza that was a French bread pizza to feed four people every 20 min. With about 50 to 75 people in line waiting for food. Went to venue to see atmosphere for a future wedding. Would never even consider it after the rude response we got when we showed up and indicated we did not purchase tickets ahead of time. Which didn't matter due to more then enough seating. Ran out of beer at 6:30. Only good part of the event was the band which we heard while waiting in line. Salad bar was a joke all by it self half the toppings were gone. Even the salad dressing and to top it off no salad Bowles available. Felt so sorry for the band. To play so well for an event that was a complete disaster. Located in inaddicute area for a wedding...
