For those wondering if this is open… yes it is. We spent 2 nights here in August 2022 and we have been the only boat here. They have some very nice new docks and it has recently been dredged so we had no issues with depth -the channel was at least 8-10 feet. There are washrooms and showers but no power. However, there is a lovely brew pub mere steps from the docks and they have been very accommodating about allowing me to charge my phone. Of course I wouldn’t ask that without being prepared to sample the product… cheers to Heelpath Brewery! Frankfort is currently free - as they recognize they are not offering complete service. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the main part of the town where there is a bakery, supermarket, dollar store and a couple of gas stations with convenience stores. We considered tying up in Utica but they charge 3$ per foot and with a mast adding to our length, that would have been about $120 and I am told we could cab from here to Utica for much less.
