Great place to go and swim and have a nice picnic with ur family and everything and play a nice game of volleyball with the net their and theirs a place for your kids to play like a playground area and little grill spots to cook food and showers to dry off after u swim in the lake and then go on the sandy beaches . Their are rentable life jackets their that are free of charge but they do need to be returned before u leave the park , their are hiking trails and camping grounds to stay in and their is a lot of history and facts about this spot from a long time ago . Another thing is that their are bathrooms all around the park so if u need to go u can they are pretty clean not bad at all and their is a shop in the middle of the park we’re u can get candy and soda or something to eat for all affordable prices for sure and u can also buy like games and frisbees and stuff like that their lien extra activities and stuff like that . Honestly I love it here and btw their are a lot of pidgins and my family loves going around the park and feeding them all bread and everything and to just see them all go crazy and have fun was Amazing and we had an amazing time here . I would definitely recommend comeing here and I know I will...
Read moreLittle history for ppl. The shaul family (the father of boys that work farm now) father give this land to Max V.Shaul State park. hence how it got its name, they used play softball there for yrs the lady's league.. the old road used come out right at Max V.shaul park where playground is. The road is there and dangerous because it's so brittle on falling apart, plus falling rocks was built with coal machines. You can actually still find piles of coal along the bank. Thank the GODS this park didn't get closed down when Cuomo 🤢 was trying to save the country money by shutting down state parks!!! In spring you can hear the turkey's 🦃 sounding off before it's bedtime and early morning 🌄. Hope everyone respects the park and remember leave your site better then you got it, to preserve what we...

They lose a point for being able to hear cars on route 30 from most of the camp. Some sites even have a full view of the cars going by. Also, they have the worst toilet paper ever. I don't think it's...
