This is a great location to swim! But be wary if you’re afraid of snakes. There are actual Water snakes in the water!!!!! And in the creek that feeds the waterfalls. The signs outside Is true!!! We saw a few but tons of people swimming and nobody got bitten. Supposedly they’re not poisonous. Come early the trail parking gets filled very early. No later than 11 am for sure. Many moons ago it was park and swim and lots of locals and out of town climbers stopped in to cool off . It is still nice to see that it Is not over crowded.
