Hudson Chatham Winery — Attraction in Town of Ghent

We had the absolute pleasure of attending a private event held at Hudson Chatham Winery this past weekend. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and makes you feel like you have been transported. You might see some chickens running around too. They have something for anyone in your group whether it’s wine, beer or cocktails. There are fire pits and lots of seating/tables strewn about. Their main room where you order is so charming with a nice clean bathroom and air conditioning. Plenty of wines bottled and ready for you to take home.

You can tell that everything is crafted with love: the space, vibe, food and drink. We had a group of about 15 people and each and every one of us could not stop raving about the experience. We started off with the one of the best spreads of appetizers/small bites - my personal favorites were the tomato and burrata on fresh bread and the little potato balls. Everything is fresh and delicious! Then, dinner was to die for, they use quality ingredients and let them shine - again my personal favorites were the steak and smashed potatoes. Don’t even get me started about the dessert which was the most beautiful tres leches trifle topped with toasted coconut, absolutely incredible.

After our event we got to spend time with the owners after they busted their butts providing one of the most special dinner parties for our group. They took such great care of us and then went the extra mile to show us around and explain what they do which made it feel even more special to us. As a bonus they are dog friendly and if you’re lucky you’ll get to meet some of the owners adorable pups while you are there! What an experience, this is a must try and it’s absolutely worth...
