A rainy day had us ending up here for some fun. I did my research and saw the $5 per person entrance fee; and did see that each art project chosen was additional money. Understandably in a tourist town the profits need to be made during peek season.

I enjoyed the time there and with my family.

Overpriced art projects would be an understatement. We came to do the jewelry making and were told they were too understaffed for it to be open. We were also told we'd be given a coupon to come back for the jewelry making at checkout. We weren't. $30 to just get IN (admission fee-for WHAT?????) and even with us splitting canvases in pairs we dropped another $70!!!

When we got to the painting building there were over 35 people crammed in there. No place to sit, no staff to assist in instructing us what to do/where to start....or that there were STEP by STEP binders for each design posted on the walls. 15 min before closing a staff member finally appeared-but only to clean up our paint, napkins and brushes-while we were still using them.

Not impressed.

A few suggestions-let people walk around before making them pay an 'entrance' fee-those of us who've never been there before want to be able to choose if the art projects are 'our thing'.

Wristbands-should be suggested that they are placed on non-dominant hands.

Limit attendence in certain workshops..it really is NO FUN for anyone when it's...

I would like to rate this place a much higher rating, especially since we did have a good time, but can't because we still have not received our pottery. We spent a Friday night there while on vacation in Door County, and since it was the late night, and we weren't staying til 2:30 on Sunday, we opted to have all 6 pieces shipped to the house and that it would take 2 weeks. The staff we encountered was friendly and had a sense of humor and the band was entertaining. On the day we were expected to receive the pottery, nothing. I called and left a message and was only returned an e-mail saying they misplaced/couldn't find 2 of the 6 pieces and if I got back to them that they would ship them out ASAP. I responded on the 2 they were missing, never got a confirmation back or anything. It was been 2 weeks since then, so 4 weeks since our stay and still no pottery and not even sure if they have it anymore or found all 6 pieces. Still trying to contact and NOTHING. These are supposed to be Christmas presents and no response and no pottery is irritating. We would like to go back next year, but if we pay for something and don't get it when we are told, we just may not go back and spend a fair amount of money at that, just to paint something and not enjoy it. I think they should re-evaluate the business and get things straightened out to actually get business...

We had went in on Sunday to do our projects. I was a little perturbed because they had told me that our pieces would be done onTuesday at 2:30, they called me on Monday and said that they weren't ready because there were so many people in there and they thought that I was going to pick up the following week and then I reminded her that that was the original but That's why I asked and I said I would come back on Tuesday and pick up our pieces however they said it wasn't ready so I went on Wednesday and it still wasn't ready so they were going to ship it and I decided no I would pick it up on Friday cause it would be my day off. I didn't realize they had talked to my grandson. I brought the pieces to him and he said that they had mentioned that the corner piece had broke a little and they glued it. I don't have a picture of it right now, but very upsetting. This piece was $75 and the corner was actually broken off so I don't know if maybe they had too much stuff in the kiln I don't know, but I know I will not ever go back there again. I spent around 750.00 for all of our projects we did in two days. When they had called my grandson, they should've just told him it was damaged and they would refund him the money instead of having...

Creative, Relaxing, and So Much Fun for All Skill Levels! We took a group of 13 to Hands On Art Studio and had an amazing time! To make it even more fun, we each drew a name from a hat and painted a piece for a friend—it was a blast. Most of us have little to no artistic talent, but the studio made it easy and enjoyable for everyone. They offer tons of support with stencils, inspiration pieces, and a wide range of project options—from simple and beginner-friendly to more advanced for those who are artistically inclined. The space was peaceful and inviting, the experience was affordable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Whether you're planning a group outing or just looking for a creative day with the kids, this is a fantastic place to unwind and make something special. Highly recommend!

We stood around the glass shop for a long time waiting to be helped. I finally went to the one staff member in the room and informed her we needed help on getting started, which she said she would have to do but was in the middle of helping someone else. We waited for another 5-10 minutes and then left. We looked for the least crowded room and just chose that, ceramics. We enjoyed painting our dish and there was more staff available in that room making it a much quicker start on our projects. Really liked the concept and enjoyed painting our ceramics but would have loved to make some glass art.

My wife and I visited Hands on Art Studio over 10 years ago, we made a fused glass piece. We returned this past October to create another fused glass piece. I highly recommend taking time to create something at Hands On. There are many helpful employees to aid guest if needed. There are a ton of different things to you can partake in. It's a great place to spend with your family and friends. For what we did I feel that the pricing was very fair. They also were able to ship our finished piece to us. I will defiantly be returning with my 3 kids. I love this place!
