Peninsula Players Theatre — Attraction in Town of Gibraltar

All around GREAT experience From purchasing tickets to viewing the actual play, Peninsula Players staff made it an easy & seamless process!

I appreciated the informative email ahead of time so that I knew what to expect with the electronic tickets.

There were plenty of staff making the parking an easy experience. The grounds of the theatre are absolutely GORGEOUS, we enjoyed all of the benches & places to sit in various locations. Loooved the beer garden area & the bartender had a GREAT story.

Throughout the entire evening, we found plenty of smiling & informative staff to help us constantly! It was great! I’m not sure we’ve ever gone to a theatre with staff that was so kind! Clearly they love their jobs!

The actual theatre is spectacular—comfy seats with plenty of legroom & excellent acoustics! I have a hearing impairment and I had ZERO issues there!

Because of this wonderful experience, we’ve now purchased tickets to 2 more shows this summer!

I've been to Peninsula Players many times, and have seen a wide variety of shows. Many have been fabulous, including "Always, Patsy Cline" and "The Full Monty."

I love going early and watching the sun set on the lake, having a glass of wine in the garden, and chatting with others in the theater. It's so. . . Door County! Truly one of my favorite theaters.

Insider tips: Wear sensible shoes because you'll probably find yourself walking on uneven surfaces. Dress for the weather, and be prepared for the theater to cool off when the sun goes down. No one will think it's odd if you bring in your car blanket on a chilly fall evening. If you want, you can bring a picnic and enjoy it beforehand, but remember that you absolutely may not carry in alcoholic beverages. And nothing but water is allowed inside...

I saw last night's performance of Little Women. As I write this, the goose bumps come back. I was completely transported to Chicago, LA or New York. The performance was stunning. EVERYONE involved on stage was absolutely top notch in their field. The singing was spectacular, the dancing and the timing were perfection. And to get all of this in a venue like that? Well, pinch me, I can't believe I live in this paradise. The venue has such a welcoming vibe, I love that you can bring your own food and drink and enjoy the beauty before the show (take everything back to your car before the show). I could go every night and never get enough. Thank you Peninsula Players Theatre, your staff, volunteers and everyone that contributes to this fine performance center. Door County...
