A very peaceful hike. I hiked both loops. Less than 1.5 miles. The further path loop had many roots and stones so good footwear is a must. I was the only one on the trail and felt very safe. Good signage was very helpful! I sometimes lost sight of the trail on the further loop but signage kept me on the path.

Nice little park, a little hard to spot the sign. Park on the side of the road. Hike through woods and boggy, muddy area where it's difficult to know where the trail is. Fortunately there are good trail signs. Lots of hiking over roots and rocks. Make sure you use bug repellant!

Great hike, and more challenging than expected on the north loop due to many recently fallen trees. The other loop was easy. Be prepared to go over, under, through, and around if you do the northern loop!

Great rustic hike. Sometimes the footpath is hard to follow, but there are nice blue signs on trees marking the way. It hadn’t rained in a week when we hiked it and there was a lot of standing water and mud so be sure to bring the hiking boots. No parking area that I saw, so I parked on the street. The trail head is just a small sign that said “door county land trust”. Otherwise it’s easy to drive by...

The place itself is fine, beautiful area with unique geological/ecological conditions (a fen). Trail is pretty easy hiking, no major elevation changes, one part had some crazy downed trees and you had to find your way around. Can't explore off trail. Can't see the water from anywhere on the path (that I found). It was the middle of summer, but the weather...
