During a time when activities are limited, my wife and I decided to give MRA a try. A little nervous when booking as we weren't sure exactly what we were getting into. How hard would it be? How high would we be? While not old, we are closer to old than young. :-). First we lucked out with a beautiful day, couldn't be nicer then spending time outdoors, in the woods after so much time in various states of quarantine. When arriving, the staff was friendly and glad we were joining them. Lots of gear to put on but staff lead us through the process. We soon realized the gear is important as it makes you feel very safe as you o through the courses and zip lines. First step was getting instructions on how the safety system worked. Guides were informative and better yet it was hands on. Seemed like a lot of information but prepared us well and the guides were always available if you had questions while on the courses. We did a three hour pass including going through several courses and ending with zipline rides. It was great exercise, challenging but we could handle it and the zip lines were a lot of fun. Definitely a good choice to experience MRA and would highly recommend it for kids and adults. If my kids were younger, would make this a family excursion. Thanks MRA for a great time!

Oh my gosh… absolutely wonderful place with outstanding staff!!! Let me say.. I’m afraid of heights but I’m ALWAYS trying to overcome that fear. I’ve always wanted to try Zip Lining so my son, a LT in the Army, was like let’s do it! This place has 10 different zip lines and a ton of other obstacles for you to do as well! Back to me though.. I got up there and had a panic attack and had to get down but the staff was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! I was so scared ..I kinda put on a little scene with my panic attack and then started to cry but the staff jumped in and TRULY SHOWED THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND THEIR BIG HEARTS. One of the Staff, Rhi , a beautiful spirit.. practically held my hand and help me at least experience two smaller zip lines. Yes with Rhi’s help I did it!! Olivia another staff member showed me places to get great pics and tried to make me laugh all while telling me I did Gr8 lol I don’t know about that but She too was truly a ray of sunshine. Awesome, fun, exciting place with outstanding staff to match!! My family LOVED IT! Definitely going back and I WILL TRY AGAIN! To the staff Truly THANK YOU!!!!!!

I came here for my best friend's birthday, and we had an amazing time! The zip line and obstacle course were super fun, challenging, and definitely pushed us out of our comfort zones—in the best way. We choose the tree top pass. The course took us about 3 hours to complete, and while there were a few moments I wanted to tap out (especially near the end), the encouragement from my friend and the guides helped me push through. We laughed, screamed, cheered each other on, and even sang our way through it! The staff was helpful and made sure we felt safe and secure the entire time. The obstacles were well-designed and offered just the right mix of fun and fear-factor. If you’re nervous about heights—go anyway. The confidence and sense of accomplishment you walk away with are totally worth it. I left feeling proud, empowered, and already wanting to go back. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for adventure, a confidence boost, or just a super fun day out!

Extremely unorganized and the owner is unprofessional and rude. We placed reservations online for the 3 hour time frame 3-6PM with the closing time being 6PM. We were under the impression our group would have availability at that time because of our reservation however, that was not the case. The courses were overcrowded, because of this we were told to either wait for an opening or we could start zip lining and do the obstacle courses second. Once completing zip lining we arrived back to the obstacle course start point. We waited over 30 minutes with no one to assist us, we were under the impression we were to just move on since we were given no further direction. After almost completing the first obstacle course the owner came over if we were "locked in by an instructor"... I informed him that we were not. He rudely retaliated with "Yeah, we don't do that here." I explained that we waited for over 30 minutes for someone and we assumed we were to move forward since we were already instructed how to use the course. It was a misunderstanding... He was very mean and responded that we should have came back to front and asked someone to help us... I explained that I understood however that was a more professional way that he could have told us this. He continued with rude remarks throughout the duration of our time and claimed that his unprofessionalism was our fault as we "left the door open for it". We left early due to the experience, he made us highly uncomfortable. Just my opinion but there should be enough staff to appropriately navigate groups through the course. The customer should not have to go find someone to find out what to do next...As for the course, the zip lining was okay approximately 30-40 ft off the ground however the obstacle courses were at a child's level.

Advice: This place needs structure... -Stick to your reservations. -Hire more staff. -Give direction on the course outline at the beginning if you are going to leave people unattended. -have one guide per group instead of lumping multiple groups together. -Owner increase professionalism and respect for customers.

I will not be returning here and will be going to Adirondack Extreme from here on out. A little more expensive but well worth the...

Let me just say.. This place is awesome if you like adventure, heights and even overcoming your fear of heights! I took my 2 sons and 3 of their friends to Mountain Ridge today and as it didn't go super smooth in the beginning (not because of anything with Mountain Ridge.. But I'll get to that) by the end they all had a great time! My youngest isn't very keen on heights so when he got to the first zip line and had to go up the scaffolding and go over the gorge his mind changed quickly. Emma got him down where we then met the WONDERFUL Lateesha. She took him under her wing and was patient in guiding him through what ever he was comfortable doing. By then end he was a green course "pro". I can't even say enoigh about how amazing she was with him. Alyssa also helped him guide his way through the green tree top course by weighing down the ropes so he didn't sway so much.. Again amazing. My oldest had a bit of a conundrum at the 5th course(and end of the day tour) and got all tangled in the log rope course but they immediately radioed to the owner and with in 5 seconds she had her gear on and raced to help him. The staff is absolutely amazing, helpful, patient and calm. Chuck helped the other 2 in the group guide their way through course 3 and then down. By the end of the day they all had a great time and one overcame his fear and wants to keep going back! Thank you so much for this experience.. We will definitely be back next year, stronger and better! PS.. Even though it's not required, please consider tipping them at the end! They work so hard to guide and keep their patrons safe and having a great experience..it...

My husband and I just left Mountain Ridge Adventure and we were very happy with the experience. We had only ever gone to Adirondack Extreme in the past but if I had to choose a course to do again I would choose this one. First of all the course was a lot more creative with the various obstacles, to us this made it more exciting to see what was around the next corner. Another huge plus was the number of people they had working. All you had to do is look down and you would see one of there staff members there to help us you didn’t know what to do or where to go next. Thankfully neither myself or my husband got stuck but we did see two different occasions where someone needed help and assistance came in a matter of minutes! Although the mechanisms were a little more involved than standard carabiners the system was a lot more safe making it impossible to unhook yourself entirely. Once we got used to it it was simple and we appreciated the added security. All of the staff was super friendly and would stop and talk to you if you asked them anything while still keeping a close eye on the obstacles to help people who needed it. I never felt like I was bothering anyone. Last but certainly not least is the zip lining course. It was made of several long zip lines that were extremely fun. The fact that if we wanted to spend the entire three hours zip lining we could was awesome. The other park we mentioned really only had one major zip line so we appreciated the actually zip line course that Mountain Ridge had to offer. Thank you for an amazing time we will definitely be coming back!

TLDR: Great experience,...
