We have stopped by the Center twice since summer, both times a great experience. The Center itself is FANTASTIC, I was proud to see my tax dollars at work through displays that blend fun and education.
There is a real bear skin 🧸 to touch, a live turtle 🐢, binoculars for birding right outside the window, picnic area, nature walk, fireplace surrounded with log furniture, activity room, and a play area for kids.
During Halloween season, the Center was decorated in a spooky fun way. The staff were friendly and eager to answer questions.

Read moreI always have a great time here. It's always a nice relaxing time. This time, I took my 2 sons because my oldest moved out, and i only have been able to see him only on Sundays. So I wanted a family affair. My partner, sister, brother, nephew, and I even brought my dog. They aren't allowed on the beach technically, but I did allow him to get wet real quick and had him on a long cord so he could run around but wasn't on the beach. He had fun.
