Henpeck Park — Attraction in Town of Greece

Henpeck Park is one of those quiet, tucked-away spots that really lets you slow down and breathe. Located right on the Erie Canal in Greece, it’s perfect for peaceful walks, bike rides, or just sitting by the water to clear your head. There are benches along the path, plenty of green space, and it’s usually not too crowded, which makes it feel like your own little escape.

It’s also a great spot to reflect, connect with nature, or spend quality time with someone important. Whether you’re watching boats pass by or just enjoying the stillness, Henpeck Park offers a simple kind of beauty that’s hard to find these days.

I've passed by this park many times, and mistaking judged it by it's tiny parking lot. Decided to finally take a look, surprisingly it's a beautiful park great for walking and riding the bike. The path is aligned with hundreds of trees which leads to the historic junction lock (If your walking towards Long Pond Road from the Henpeck Parking Lot at Ridgeway). Sitting benches are sporadically placed along the way and one picnic bench at the junction. If you get thirsty, walk to Long Pond Road, you can clearly see the Uhaul office, there's a Sunoco gas station, Tim Hortons and Philly Steakout if you dare to cross this heavy...

This is a small park along the canal. Roughly 30 parking spaces and they can fill up quickly on nice weather days. I believe the hours are Dawn til Dusk but this is loosely enforced.

There is a small launch for kayaks and the paved walking trail turns to gravel about 100 yards from the park. (This would be a great access point if you were wanting to ride bikes along the canal.
