Clifton Park is generally lacking in the parks department (I'm from Colonie and we kill it in parks and recreation compared to up here). Practically all parks here are at best what we called pocket parks. Small 1 acre places with maybe a playground and nothing else. This is the only real park in Clifton Park, and as such has nice amenities such as a decent trail system for walking, jogging, or biking. A good play area for kids. Sports complex for baseball and such. Decent parking and several bathrooms and water fountains throughout. Relatively pretty surrounding area. This is the best park in the area, but not nearly as good as say The Crossings in Colonie. This is an area this town really needs to step up in...

We've been going to this park for years and we absolutely love it. A little disappointed about removing the trees which removes the shade making summertime play very difficult for families. The tables are great but they're directly in the Sun making it nearly impossible to have a picnic. Great trails, well-managed playgrounds, plenty of parking, and a splash pad is great for the kids. But again the only tables that are underneath any shade are at the child's splash pad. A lot of young families with babies that are desperate for shade. We still love to go but must go in the morning or in short periods of...

We had our company picnic here! With limited funds this was perfect! There was a splash pad for the kids, a play ground and pavilions. Parking was no problem and super close. We had a great spot with plenty if picnic tables, we brought camp chairs to be respectful and not use all of the tables for the other families there, but it was quiet so there were no worries. The kids had a blast and it was a great chance for team building and to get the families together. Bathroom facilities were decent and right next to where we set up. Awesome place with a great paved walking trails....

This is such a great park. Miles of nice walking or bike trails with multiple fitness stations along the way, super dog-friendly including waste bags along the paths, great playgrounds for multiple ages, including for littles so they're safe, and now the splash pad - perfect for a hot day. Generally well-maintained and enjoyable year round (even though bathrooms are not year round to my knowledge).

This park has everything. A gravel trail with cute bridges, in an enchanting patch of forest. The following are some of the things I saw there: Veterans Memorial Sports Fields and equipment Clean bathrooms ..more than one! A splash pad for the kids when it’s hot outside. Haynors ice cream and country store right next to the park. Smart, huh! Plenty of parking. Disabled parking.

This park is a great place to go. It is clean and well maintained. There is a playground for kids to play, a small water splash area for the summer and lots of trails for walking. This small bridge is on one of those paths. Great place to come with the kids or if you want to just walk around in nature.
