Great place for walks, bike rides, or runs. The path is paved, which is nice in the spring when walking paths get muddy. No worries about mud here. There are two options, East or West. I went to the West last time. It is flat and almost straight for the first .75 miles at least, which is as far as I went before turning around. This section has water on both sides. I saw many turtles and a variety of birds. Going east, there is immediately an incline then a decline. The path is curvier and goes through woods along the train tracks. There is a picnic table at .5 miles, where I turned around. I saw a restroom in the parking area but did not venture inside. There was a place to lock up your bike. It's a lovely trail that passes through wetlands and forests, although you will also encounter some backyards as well. It's impossible to get lost on this trail ☺️ Starting at the trailhead, the first three miles are hard-packed gravel and the rest is paved.
This is just a basic trail entrance. There are no facilities aside from the parking lot at the trailhead. There is no water, no restrooms, no playground, no picnic tables, and no benches. I'm not sure how far up you have to travel before there are any facilities at all...
