Historic Hamden Covered Bridge — Attraction in Town of Hamden

A stunning covered span in the most picturesque setting you could ever imagine. Her build type is known as a Long Truss, which is very similar to a Howe Truss, with the primary difference being that the Long Truss has more substantial verticals. She was built in 1859 and has been serving the wonderful town of Hamden, NY, ever since. Of particular interest here is the boat launch next to the span complete with an awesome "keel rail."
