Hector Falls — Attraction in Town of Hector

NOTE: Hector Falls has a tricky parking area, that at times makes it hard for oncoming Cars, Trucks, and/or Semi-Trucks to react. You will have about the width of a parking space and a half between you the bridge and the vehicles. I'm not a safety nut and love to get out there on the edge, but all kidding aside I've been uncomfortable here more than once and there have been deaths here to include a little girl.

Hector Falls, offers you an absolutely phenomenal views of a waterfall, and I will include an aerial shot in the review in case anyone would like to see the bigger picture (pun intended) save it and share it all you like!

Views from boats are best! Rd side Stop's have lead to recent local children DEATHS!!! Don't Do It!!! Don't Slow,n,Snap! Pull over,get out, take a short walk careful to the side of bridge and take pics. Don't Go Over The Rails! It's private property the land owners will get upset!!! Do not Go Swimming! It is not permitted it is definitely not safe it's over a 200ft drop! People on slime covered rock's! Yeah there's always that one person that just has to get that one great shot and oops yes you guessed it ruined it for everyone. So just look at them from the view from the lake it's the best I didnt post it so as to not ruin it but rent the "true love"...

Very pretty. Visible from your car as you drive by, but there's a place to parallel park off the bridge. Behind the guard rail you can climb down to the water and walk right up to the falls. If you are a decent climber with good upper body strength, you could climb right to the top. You can climb on all of the cascades up or down from there though I'm not sure if it's the same conditions all year. The view from the bridge to Seneca lake (facing away from the falls) is beautiful as well. Good sunsets at Seneca lake. Didn't have my good camera with me...
