Not from New York and this was my first time going to this beach. It was a great experience. From the parking attendant, lifeguards to the concession staff 10/10. The water was a bit chilly, but the sand was clean. I felt very comfortable sitting and playing on the sand. It wasn’t to crowded, of course we arrived a lil after 2pm on a Saturday. Has a table area, bathrooms, shop and concession stand with food and drinks including alcohol. The pretzel was soft and hot as soon as I got it but the 3 minutes it took for me to walk back to my spot it was hard as a rock. Couldn’t eat it, breaking it apart was ridiculously tough and to pay practically $7 for that is a waste.
