My daughter is doing a research paper on Factory Farming and wanted to get the prospective about it from a local farmer. Greg was so kind to make himself available to be interviewed. His knowledge about farming and his perspective was amazing. We decided to try some of their products, so we placed an order. We ordered bacon, bacon ends and eggs. Their eggs are amazing, I could really taste the freshness. The bacon was out of this world. I cut up the ends and made bacon asparagus pasta, YUMMY! I made some sunny side up eggs and bacon for my weekend breakfast. I thought I had died and gone to breakfast heaven. Please give them a try you won't be disappointed. 6/6/21 Just had a first for me. A double yoke egg, twice as delicious. Thanks guys..........

I've been purchasing pork from Stonecrop for about 2 years now. The meat is amazing. I love the butt steaks, bacon, pork chops, etc. I love feeling good about eating the fatty pieces because I know it's clean and delicious and I don't want to waste any part of the pigs that Greg and Jenney so carefully and lovingly raise. The pork bones make the most amazing bone broth. But my favorite things about this farm is the transparency, something we don't see very often. Through their weekly newsletter and farm tours we know exactly how the pigs are raised and we even hear about the challenges and the solutions they find. Thank you so much for farming the way it should be done!

I began buying from Stonecrop farm when I sought a connection with eating healthy meat and learning about the process of farming organically and sustainably. I have been able to follow the close relationship these farmers have to their animals and high standards of raising meat ethically. Pork meat is delicious, clean, and healthy which was my goal in buying from Stonecrop Farm. The unexpected bonus is how much they communicate with the customer to give me a bird's eye view of their operations. Glad to have them as neighbors who care for the environment too.

My mother purchases chicken and pork from Stonecrop farm at the Brighton Farmer's market every week. They also regularly carry offal, which is great for weird (but delicious!) Chinese dishes.

Their products are FAR superior to anything I've ever gotten from the supermarket; when my mother makes the same old dish with ingredients from Greg and Jenny, there is SO much more flavor to the dish! Another bonus is that for whatever reason, the pork seems to last much longer without developing that weird smell that supermarket pork seems to take on after just a couple days in the refrigerator.

We also purchased our 2018 Thanksgiving turkey in advance, and the reservation (online, but maybe also possible in person) and pickup process (at the Henrietta farm location) was very straightforward.

Lastly, both of them are also incredibly kind and warm toward my mother, which is almost as important to me as the quality of the meat. Stonecrop farm's stewards are doing a fantastic job of filling a niche for local, responsibly farmed, high quality meat in the...

I’ve been a vegetarian for the past nearly 30 years, primarily because of the torture that industrial agriculture wreaks on animals. I have been a customer of Stonecrop Farm for the past 4 or so years because my family is not vegetarian (and I do eat eggs). I have visited their farm more than once and feel confident that they take good care of the land and give their animals good lives, raising them ethically and on pasture. They even carefully source their supplemental feed from one of the original organic grain farmers in the Finger Lakes. I deeply appreciate that they provide this option for me and my family. I love their pastured eggs, and my family raves about the turkey and pork. My husband never liked either until he tasted them from Stonecrop, and my kids can’t get enough of their breakfast sausage and bacon. Greg and Jenney's turkey has become our extended family's Thanksgiving tradition. I also appreciate having a source of ginger and turmeric I can trust (tho I recommend pre-ordering those as they sell...

We purchased 1/2 pig from Greg and Jenney at Stonecrop Farm and the experience couldn’t have been better. Greg did a wonderful job of simplifying the process by providing us with a cut sheet and accompanying video that explained the different cuts and how to fill it out so you get exactly what you want. Pick up was easy and everything is vacuum sealed and labeled.

The biggest reason to get your pork from Stonecrop is the quality. We have raised our own pig and obviously eaten store bought pork but I have never tasted anything as good as the pork from Stonecrop. I can’t decide what I like more the thick sliced bacon or the ham steaks. The breakfast sausage is amazing in greens and beans and the ribs were meaty and delicious. Once it warms up a bit I am going to smoke a pork shoulder and I anticipate it will be just as good as everything else.

Getting a 1/2 pig from Stonecrop was a great decision for our family. It was nice to have all that meat in the freezer as it gave us peace of mind. It is well worth...
