Spending a day at Pumpkinville is a uniquely rare kind of awesome experience. Every year they have more fun stuff than last year, be bouncy pads, giant slides, mazes, animatronic robot tractors and animals that sing for you, plus of course real animals and tractors, kiddie trains, tractor hayrides, a cannon that blasts candy all over the field, I can't really name all the great stuff for kids, and for us there's beautiful scenery, a shooting range for paintball and apple cannons, etc. My favorite thing is their ncredible quality pumpkin and apple products (pumpkin donuts/bread made on for, raw apple cider, fresh apples at bulk prices.. the apple cider alone, I never tasted anything like it and you and kids can literally watch them churn it out of their big weird machine. They also have a decent BBQ stand. Chicken corn Mac cheese you can't go wrong. It IS DEFINITELY expensive AF... Not gonna sugarcoat. Entry is like $30 per person flat, grandpas and newborns alike. Then they charge extra for certain activities, and obviously food products too. Prices have skyrocketed last few years, But I guess quality over affordability is a good enough angle.

Literally a waste of time, gas and especially money. I have been coming here for YEARS! It’s been a family tradition that sadly will be ending. We just had a baby not too long ago, so I went inside the paid area with our older son. And my husband stood outside of the paid area with our baby so we didn’t have to pay $75 dollars (baby being free) just to watch our son put his face in the characters for pictures or for us to stand by the flowers for pictures or for us to look at the animals because god forbid the food for them would be included. It had rained today so obviously the jump area was closed and everything was extremely muddy. Just as a price comparison, I could go to Waldameer for the same price and that has ten times more things to do. After spending that kind of money just for a train ride, to throw an extremely muddy basketball against a wall and slip and slide my way through the corn maze we decided against spending more money on our usual pumpkins and apples.

This was a new farm for us to visit and although I liked the food, and atmosphere, it's not very handicapped friendly. I travel with a family member who is wheelchair bound and I couldn't get her into any of the shops, or even through the cider mill. There is a lot of loose stone as well. We actually got stuck twice. There are a lot of steps up into the buildings that were too large for the wheelchair to go over and unfortunately the doorways were all narrow. Food was very good and their cider was amazing! We bought two gallons to bring home with us. They also had a whole area for kids that was an admission fee. I did like the fact it was separate, but I wish I could have done the petting zoo and such, but I'm not going to pay the full admission and not be able to do anything. I wasn't even sure if I'd have been able to bring her through the petting zoo part. Overall the place was nice, food was good, the drive down was beautiful, just not very handicapped accessible.

I want to start off by saying that I think pumpkinville is a very cute, family oriented place to enjoy fall activities. However, after reading the “lowest” reviews, I seen that I was not the only parent with the same complaint.

Through the reviews I was able to learn that during the weekday there is no general admission and you are able to buy tickets if your children want to partake in activities that are offered. But I would not have known this had I not read the owners responses to the negative reviews, as it is not posted on their website. My family and I went on the weekend. Children 3+ as well as parents and family are are all charged the same $17.50 for unlimited activities. I do think that there should be a general admission fee for the adults, however I think it should be half the cost considering patents aren’t really partaking in activities and only supervising. Due to admission being so costly I seen some parents paying for their children and having them go in unsupervised which is not only sad but unsafe. As I’ve seen in the responses, the owner does mention that the weekend admission allows them to keep the capacity levels at safe levels, however I think unsupervised children should be more of a safety concern than a head count. Instead, having high admission on the weekend only allows families who are able to pay high admission to enjoy. This is unfortunate for other parents that are in the same position as I am who work during the week, are driving a distance and cannot afford such a expensive general admission without even considering the cost of food, gift shops, etc.

I don’t think that the owner has ill intentions with pricing considering weekdays there isn’t general admission. I also understand that it is a business and that high admission during the weekend has to make up for the fact that there is no admission fee for the weekdays, however I do think you should consider a different business approach. M-S $17.50 general admission 3+, half price for adults and free for seniors. If there are capacity concerns for the weekends a head count would be more appropriate than raising the dollar amount so that all families have an equal opportunity at your...

Well first I will say it was a pretty good experience at first. Tons of things for our grandson to do. He enjoyed it and we were enjoying it. We decided after doing all the activities, we bought him a wristband, we had to do the corn maze. It was fun but the activity you are supposed to do while walking through, find stations and color a finger for each, the stations were empty, no colors. When we mentioned it to the attendant at the entrance, we were told it's been that way for weeks. We started out day at 10 am. So no good at maintaining the attraction but guy made us feel it was our fault because we mentioned it to him. Well we decided to do a little shopping in the shops there... I needed a pumpkin for a sermon I'm doing Sunday and I figure, this would be the perfect place to get it. We decided to peek into a little shed shop they have with knick knacks in it. I came across one that wasn't sitting right. Reaching for it it feel over and became 2 pieces. Feeling pretty bad about it I went to the register to tell them what had happened. I believe honesty is the best policy. Well that belief cost me just under 8 bucks as the woman rang me out for it, mind you I didn't want it in the first place, but made me feel like, again, it was my fault. Again, 2 times in just moments it was my fault that something wasn't right. No I didn't buy a pumpkin. At that point, I figure they have enough of my money for the day. No, I didn't bring the broken piece home. Very dissatisfied 1st time customer. Probably would have been better years ago when this was a small attraction and...

After a 14 year tradition of going to Pumpkinville on Columbus Day, yesterday was our last visit. We have been going for many more years than 14 and have always enjoyed walking around and doing one or two of the activities. Unfortunately Pumpkinville has jumped on the bandwagon of charging everyone admission on weekends and Columbus Day, therefore not a budget friendly experience. Along with this notion, you will have adults who figure they need to get their money's worth and participate in all the activities like the jump pillows. Apparently the employee there thought his job was only to hold down the bench and not make sure the kids were safe on the jump pillows. It used to be one side was for the bigger kids and the other side was for the little kids and were limited to how many kids were jumping at one time. Yesterday was a free for all on the jump pillows and my toddler was knocked over by the same adult twice who didn't know better than to jump full bore on the jump pillow with the little ones. The employee never said anything to me or the woman jumping when I picked up my crying toddler who had bite his lip when he was knocked down a 2nd time after gaining his footage after being knocked down by the same woman the 1st time. I made a comment to him that there shouldn't be full grown adults jumping with the little ones and we left the jumping area. He just sat there with a blank look on his face. I had always supported Pumpkinville even though their competitor is a lot closer to my home. I'll save the...
