Bay Bridge Sport Shop — Attraction in Town of Huron

Bay Bridge Sport Shop is the best bait shop around, or at least to any that I've ever been to. Great service, huge selection of everything you need, extremely great prices and extremely terrific staff!!! Here's why. My dad n I rented a boat from there yesterday. We both thought that it was prob not a good idea to rent a boat bc we both are very wobbly people, n we would prob fall in while trying to get into the boat, but we did it anyways. We got in safe and sound, got all the equipment in, got all situated, no problems. Dad went to start the boat, thinking it was in neutral, but nope it sure wasn't. It was on full throttle, the boat starts moving slowly, getting faster, and faster. I'm telling my dad to stop, stop, stop n next thing you know we hit the wall... I go overboard n into the water I go. I come up, worrying about my dad, and my dad was worrying about me. He's trying to get out of the boat to get onto the dock to help me, but what happens? He starts to fall in himself, one leg in the water, one leg in the boat, and his hands n top half on the dock, while his shoe is floating in the water. Luckily this bait shop has terrific people that work there n go there. There were 5 men and a lady, they came running over asking and making sure we were ok. Couple men helped my dad get back into the boat, while the others were trying so hard to pull me out of the water and onto the dock. They got me half way out before I fell back in. Finally one of the gentlemen said he had a ladder and I was able to get out! Thank you soooo much to those wonderful men and woman for helping us out!!! It was truly a day to remember. This establishment has been here for as long as I can remember. I easily recall dozens of family fishing and camping trips up and down the Lake Ontario Shoreline from Rochester to Alexandria Bay. Bay Bridge Sport Shop, located on the South West shore of Sodus Bay is easily accessible by boat, car, truck, bike and sled; making it the only bait and tackle shop in the area that is open year round/7...

Amazing customer service and rental service! We somehow lost the key when out on the water and got really stressed out. A young man came out and saved us by lending us another key til our time came. We found the key and brought both back with the boat and they did not charge us extra for the rescue. Only place I’d rent from on the bay for the rest of the time I come here. Very friendly...
