This was always a great quiet beach spot before they put in the meters. Since they meter have been put in and allowed outside residents to come it's getting worse. Summer hasn't even started yet and already 3 times groups with loud music, leaving garbage all over I witnessed in just 2 days. I lived in the city most of my life so Im use to loud music etc ... But Cedar was definitely a nice quiet beach since becoming resident of Brookhaven. They should lower the resident tax since they are making off money from meters and it's open...

Itâs a pretty long walk to the water so bring a wagon if you plan to bring a lot of items. They have a lot of trash cans around as well. The bathrooms theyâre were very clean.
