Lower Falls, Enfield Glen — Attraction in Town of Ithaca

Do not miss this destination if you happen to be nearby!! I haven't had this much fun near a waterfall in a long while, and this place felt perfect. It's a great and refreshing spot to swim in the summer. Sure, the water is really cold upon initially getting in, but swimming up close to the falls and feeling the water beat your back feels so good. It's strangely relaxing haha. Don't want to torture yourself getting used to the water? Just jump from the diving board! Just make sure a lifeguard is around. The lifeguards here are very nice...

Great location for a dip on a hot day. The water is very cold, but it was 92 degrees in late June, so it was refreshing.

Be sure to bring a picnic blanket to sit on if you plan to lounge or enjoy a picnic lunch.

Not a popular state parks so we came here with less expectations and were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful hikes. The swimming hole Enfield Glen falls has a pretty flat trail.
