Beautiful spot to kayak. Lots of wildlife, easy to drop your boat in, and paddling against the current is no problem. I have seen eagles every time I've been here. Lovely place. There is a bathroom but no running water, just a hand pump. Playground exists, but is minimal. There is a nice pavilion with picnic tables.

Stopped to have a picnic and do a little fishing. Nothing biting yet but it's still early. Kids enjoyed the playground a lot. Saw some large animal tracks in the mud so if you take your dog make sure to keep them leashed and nearby at all times.

This is a nice little park with shelter, picnic tables and grills, a playground, and a vault toilet. It is a good access point for paddling the Rock River.

Kanow Park is under water and the road leading to it is closed! Expcted to be closed for quite some time. 5/23/19: Park still closed due to food damage even though water has receded- give it another 2-3 weeks! Back again on Oct. 9: Park has been closed for awhile again and will surely not open again this year! River road is covered with H2O again as is the nearby Wayside on Hy.16. Most Parks on the rock & Bark rivers will be flooded as well so...

Always crowded, particularly fishers. It's not even fun to go back there and try to fish anymore because I'm convinced it's all fished out. And I don't want to appear racist, but there are always Hmong's there who will get very defensive if you start fishing near them. It used to be a great spot, but now it's no worth...
