Lakota's Farm Weddings — Attraction in Town of Jackson

My son and new daughter-in-law just had their wedding at this farm and all went beautifully. The location is gorgeous and the historic barn is well appointed for festive celebrations. There was lots of room for many people not just to park and sit in one place, but to move around inside and outside before and during the event. Kimberly and her team were really helpful in so many details, from guiding everyone around during rehearsal and event, to making sure differently mobile guests could move easily from lawn to the barn, to even bringing out one of her beautiful horses to be in the wedding photos. And they were ready if the weather had turned rainy to quickly move everything undercover.

Kimberly mentions elsewhere that the catering was done by a separate company, but she has obviously worked with that team before - there seemed to be ample room for them to do all their food prep, serving and cleanup very efficiently .

My husband and I are extremely happy that we had our wedding at Lakota's Farm! Kimberly and her team were friendly, professional, and accommodating to us and our family throughout the entire process. Months later after our September 2019 wedding, our friends and family still keep telling us how absolutely beautiful the entire venue was, including the two private buildings for the couple and the wedding party to get ready separately, the guest greeting station, our outdoor ceremony location, the cocktail hour bar, the reception room upstairs in the barn, and of course the grounds themselves. DO NOT BOOK. OWNER IS CLOSE TO BANKRUPTCY. The owner Kimberly put in writing she would give my wife and I a partial refund. We gave Kimberly 90 days after our wedding before asking for our partial refund. Kimberly told us she had to fire her bookkeeper because she did not have enough money to pay her. Kimberly after weeks of not responding told us she could not pay our refund, and she didn’t have the money. We found out another couple she promised a refund to and claimed she did not have any money to pay their refund. The owner is truly an awful person lacking integrity and honesty. Don’t book here.
