Our grand daughter Amanda and husband Tom and their two daughters Belle and Molly have desided to become farmers and they moved to Lewis Waite Farm in upstate NY. What a beautiful place! More than 80 head of cattle, hogs and wildlife galore. So far so good. They all love it. Winters up there can be tough.

I am lucky that the farm has established a partnership with my CSA in Jackson Heights, NY. Their beef and bacon are beyond delicious! I also got a lb of the best butter I’ve had in a while, as well as dried mushrooms (perfect for risotto) and eggs. I’m so happy to have found Lewis Waite Farm and plan on keep buying their amazing products even after the CSA...
